Is the "ISIS" Threat Real or Made Up; Just Another Reason for War Profiteering

The ISIS (or is it ISIL)Threat

Once again President Obama has taken action in Iraq. He seems to be drawn more and more back in to war in that Country. The corporate news media, war profiteers and the military industrial complex keep the drumbeat going by telling us that we have vital interests in that country. Besides the scare tactic of saying that ISIS is training suicide bombers to send back to America, what exactly what is our vital national in Iraq? The only thing I can see is that western oil companies want to keep control of that country's oil. Are the American people really that afraid of suicide bombers sneaking into this country enough to keep us in perpetual war on and spending all our resources on the other side of the world? The war Profiteers would love nothing more than to keep it that way, but I would prefer to think that the American people are smarter than that.

At a time when the US congress refuses to legislate highway, solar and wind energy infrastructure, they can always find money to give to the military industry. Just before they went on recess this past week, the last and only thing they managed to do was approve $225 million for Israel to continue to bomb the Palestinians in the Gaza.

If ISIS are really a threat to those people on that mountain near Erbil in that country, the US should stand back and allow these people to attempt to come down off that mountain and see what kind of action ISIS takes. If ISIS begins to massacre these people, then that would provide the reason to bomb them out of existence. But we can't just assume that they are waiting that they are waiting for that purpose, without proof for having that belief. And unfortunately for some of the people on that mountain, proof would be the beginning of a slaughter.

The US cannot keep fighting for people who don't want to be fought for. More than likely these people just want to be left alone to let whatever happens in their country to be done by themselves, not by foreign countries, such as the US. The only thing we have done is killed their leader, destabilized and destroyed their whole country in the name of "bringing democracy to them". If you were to ask me if I wanted you to help me in that way, my answer would be "HELL NO"!

If ISIS can become the ruling force in that country by reason of popularity and power, then I say let them rule. The US has ways of keeping our eyes on them. You can bet on that! If they rule wisely, well! But I guarantee it will be a long, long time before they'll be able to cause any trouble for the US. They'll be too busy trying to rebuild their country. Look at Viet Nam's example. They just wanted to be left alone. Give these people a chance to govern their own country. Again I ask, what is America's VITAL INTEREST in bombing this group?! They seem to be the only ones who will be able to stabilize the situation in that country. The news media is always saying how focused they seem to be. But yet they call them a "terrorist organization". The war profiteers and military-industrial complex will move heaven and earth to see that there is never any peace in that part of the world. There is too much money to be made.
