Mike Huckabee's and the Republican's Political Correctness

Republican Presidential Wannabe Mike Huckabee

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is really desperate these days. His comments one of  Sunday's talk shows bears this out. His remarks equating President Obama peace agreement with Iran as somehow leading to another Jewish death camp is utterly ridiculous. It shows just how far the republican candidates will go to kiss the ring of the Israeli lobby (known as AAIPAC). No sooner had President Obama signed the agreement, than Israeli prime minister attacked it as harmful to Israel. That's when all 45 (exaggeration) republican presidential contenders came out against it in full blown righteous indignation. It's as if the republicans consider Israeli prime minister to be the president of the US instead of our own President, Barack Obama. REMEMBER WHEN THE SPEAKER OF THE US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES REFUSED TO ALLOW THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO SPEAK TO THE US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES?! THAT SAME SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE THEN TURNED AROUND A YEAR LATER AND INVITED A FORIEGN LEADER TO SPEAK TO THE US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Those words deserve to be capitalized because of the lowly, despicable, dastardly, unprecedented insult to an American president that would never be tolerated by anyone in the entire world, much less a leader in our own US government.

The Israeli prime minister wants the US government to go to war with Iran for Israel's sake. Even now, the Israeli lobby along with corporate news media (which mostly owned by Jews) is doing all it can to stir up this war. It doesn't matter to them (republicans or Israeli prime minister) that this country's economy will be destroyed and that many of your and my children will be killed, crippled maimed and wounded, they just want to attack Iran. They keep repeating a lie that "the Iranian president has vowed to destroy Israel and drive it into the sea". First they said it about former Iranian president Ahmedinejad, now they have applied it to the new president of that country. No matter who becomes president of Iran, this saying will be applied to that person.

After years and years of sanctions that haven't improved anything (much like the sanctions against Cuba), it has become time to engage these countries rather than try to isolate them. The isolation tactic is what had Iran attempting to obtain nuclear material for a bomb (if they really are trying to build one). If the US and other countries had engaged Iran, it possibly would have looked to one of those countries to help it establish a peaceful nuclear program, which it claims is all it desires. They say they have no desire for nuclear weapons and I agree that we should not simply take their word for it. But shouldn't we try to accommodate them, while at the same time making sure that they are NOT attempting to build a nuclear weapon?! How can we know what they are doing if we are not there to inspect? It just makes sense to me! Why the need to bomb or go to war unnecessarily.... unless there is some other hidden agenda that they're not telling us. And if there's anything they're not telling us, we should NOT go to war under any circumstances, until ALL information is made available to the public.

While not intending to attack Israel because I believe they ARE the chosen people of God, I still cannot just sit back and watch these events occur and not say anything about them. It seems that since the beginning of the GW Bush administration, the Israeli Lobby and the gun lobby (NRA) has gained control of a large portion of our government officials, especially the republicans. It has become "POLITICALLY CORRECT" in that party to bow down to especially these two (among others) special interest groups and say anything they want you to say, vote whichever way they want you to vote, to prove your loyalty to them, even at the expense of  our own country. Make no mistake about it, there are some democrats also who are under the thumb of these organizations, but unlike the unabashed republicans, they attempt to keep themselves "undercover".
With all these republicans and the few democrats willing to make the Israeli prime the defacto president of the United States, America will soon be on a war footing again. When our children begin coming home in coffins again or all broken up, and with mental problems, it will be because we've allowed the powers that be to deceive us once again. I know we've forgotten Viet Nam, but have we forgotten the Iraq war so soon? Both of those wars began with lies being told to us by our leaders. The war with Iran will begin the same way. It's time for the TRUE patriotic Americans to speak out and say enough is enough! Stop these endless wars. Call your congressmen and senators now!
